The Burning River Sellswords are the longest running Sanctioned Hackmaster group in the state of Ohio. Our first HackMaster game session was held on 3/15/02. Our regular schedualed game is held every three weeks on Saturday 6 PM to 2 AM. On a standerd Game Night we belly up to a 4' x 8' gridded chalkboard top gaming table that resides in my basement. The walls are packed with shelves of Gaming Books, movies, fantacy novels, miniatures, war gaming terrain, my back-up computer for GM utilities, and a 4' x 5' mural depicting a single panle KoDT strip.

One of our Game Masters, Nick Cyronek is currently serving in Iraq so he gets the Honor of being featured in the first SellSword Profile.
Nick is a dedicated husband and father of two. He is the Hack-auther of "The Incants of Imarael" (the GenCon 04 tournament module) that is due to be published later this year. Nick has two sanctioned characters: Vandora, a Human female Cleric of Shona, and Lenwe Vardamir (aka Hunter) a Half-elf male Cleric/Ranger. He also GMs the longest running of our two campaigns. Based on an elite special forces unit opperating under the flag of the Fangarie City States, we have taken it up to an avarage Party level of 8. The Sellswords are currently chomping at the bit, as Nick has promised to run us through "Annihilate the Giants" when he returns.
While we often find Nick's character's playing the voice of reason in our group, he has earned a slightly twisted reputation due to a large number of called shots to the groin in the past year or so. (If that extends to real life.... Well let's just say those 72 virgins will be going to waste. (in bad taste?... sure, Funny as all hell?... Oh Yea!))
We expect Nick to rejoin us shortly after Christmas, until then we will have an empty chair at the table. For the Sellsword's part, we're Damn Proud one of our own is over there doing "The Job"! Game on!
